BIOGRAPHY
Brandon "Professor X" Aubert grew up in the mean crime, drug & gang infested streets of South Central L.A. I had a christian upbringing, always was in church, but i was just so fascinated with urban life, there (ghetto) is where i learned the forms of business networking & relations. I love playing sports in my youth, but i can recall moment's of hanging out in the street's and ease dropping on my uncle blasting this loud boisterous music, i heard records like Eazy-E's "Boys In The Hood" De La Soul "My Buddy" and Too Short " The Ghetto" that single handed changed what my career choices would be for me, from there on ,i trained myself how to write a rhyme, in 2nd grade, trying to write rhymes, in class, i was so intrigue on how to produce records before i new how to produce records, i didn't really get the support to do music from my family, so i hid most of that, as i matured, i didn't have the finances to support my dream, so one of my cousin's had a stereo system, that had a record player on as well as a dual cassette deck, i would add tape on the record so it would loop back, i let 3-4 minutes of the song loop, as i record, i would take the tape out and play it in my stereo system, and grabbed a hand held recorder, recorded my vocal's with the background of the music blaring, once i complete the song, i put the cassette that i recorded my vocals on, placed it in my stereo, and listen to the play back, to get feedback, i would call my peers & girlfriends to get an honest opinion. I got ridiculed, to make a long story short..lol, but i was determine, to get better.
Well on the afternoon of April 23 1997, i was involved in "horse playing around wresting" freak accident at my old high school (University Senior High School) in West Los Angeles, it left me a quadraplegic, i severed my cervical (c-5, c-6, c-7, c-8) the bone that controls, the arm & leg movements. I know what sounds like a tragedy, was more of a gift than a curse, i was so close, of choosing the wrong path, and god saw something different for me, so through my ordeal of being paralyzed, i kept my head up, i didn't have the wind compacity, to rap anymore, although i gave it my all, i just end up to winded and light headed, so i had a long conversation with myself in the hospital, what can i do, so when i was discharged from the hospital, it still didn't dawn on me till, my cousin damond(big cheif) called me one day and said, hey your cousin Jermel(Black) rap, i was like what!!!... immediatly i called Jermel(Black) from that day, it was on and popping, we went from, rappin over hand held recorders, to taking my ssi & his (Jermel) financial aid check to purchasing a 4track recorders, to boss drum machines, then i end up gettin a check for 1400$ went straight down to guitar center & bought an akai mpc2000xl drum machine, Jermel end up purchasing a yamaha keyboard from then circuit city, we pick up books, and studied on how to produce records, then one day it hit me,we had a 3 way conference call, i had told Jermel & Damond, that we should start our own company, I had been studying Master P, for a lil while now, and i finally built the courage from watching his campaign, on to starting my own thing, so i came up with th name "Topnotch" i twisted the speling to what it is today "Taupnoych Ent" that name stem from a sayin that rapper Too Short would use in his rhymes.
So around 2001-02 we produced and distributed Jermel aka Jet Black cd "Blackout Period"... then we went on to producing artist locally in the neghborhood, in 2005 i discovered a new group and labeled them after a freeway called (110) that took u to southenrn area's of Los Angeles, which also seperates the east & west sides of L.A. We did alot of traveling through out the years, networked with a few artist, had and honor and a blessing of doing a recorded with one of our child hood idols E-40 in a record called " Gettin that Gwop" and also had the pleasure of working with E-40's up and coming artist "Turf Talk" .... I went from producing my artsit music, to actually directing there visuals for there viral campaigns, to setting up meetings for further distribution's. I created my own line of dj's called "TNEdj's" Alongside my friend Dj Mainvybe. I was in the bay area with my one of my cousins by the name of "Twan Goddi, we were in the studio messing around, and he uttered out your like professor x and we're like your mutants, i laughed hard as hell, but the response from the room was overwhelming, i just ran with it, but couldn't figure out how to have it represent me, till recently, "im like i gotta run with this idea, there's no one like me", i became super confident, and said, imma produce my 1st mixtape...and imma call it,what people being saying bout me for years anyway... "Who Da Fucc Is Dat Nigga N Dat Wheelchair? aaa haaa.. i got it... i said imma really turn it up... and make a difference, and thats what i am setting out to do.....professor x
